power of a 450!

the power of a 450 dirt bike is ridiculous, its almost stupid how much power they have now with all this new technology to build a motor the right way to get as much horsepower as you can.i ride a 450 now instead of a 250f and i love the power difference. you don't have to worry about not clearing a jump because all you have to do is twist the throttle and hold on. the only complaint i have about the 450 is how much heavier it is than the 250. on a 450 for me its hard to control the bike in air and in corners cause of the weight im not used to it that much so it can be difficult for me sometimes. but on the other hand the 450 is crazy fast and i love the adrenaline it gives when you pin the throttle everywhere.

whips

whips on a dirt seem like they would be very hard to do. there not really hat hard to do its more how comfortable you are on your bike and how well you have control of it in the air. i have tried it before and i can get the bike sideways but i cant really figure out how to get it to come back. they say it comes back back naturally but it didnt work for me. I think being a whip would be very easy to do once you get to know how the bike will work in the air because every bike will jump differently and u have to be used to that bike and make sure your suspension is set for you because if its not you can crash very easily.

muddy races

having a really wet and muddy track to race on can either be really fun on the bike or it can be really bad for the bike. that is how i blew up my 125 two stroke. the track was so muddy i was getting any traction and i just kept spinning the tires up the hill and it made the motor work to hard to where it got really hot and blew the piston in it.

But there is fun things about riding in the mud, especially when you ride with alot of friends because you can roost them with mud which thaqt really hurts. Roost is when you spray them with mud with your bike when they are behind you.

bore kits

bore kits are for more power. usually people will put bore kits in because theres not enough power for them or there to big for the bike so they just bore it out so they don't have to pay more money for a new bigger bike. bore kits do make a big difference because 250 can be bored out 280 or a 283, so that's putting another half of a motor on your bike. to me doing a bore kit is better then having to spend more money on a new bike.

supercross vs nationals

both supercross and national races are very interesting and fun to watch. supercross has a lot of action because the way the track is designed. it makes the riders ride close together so there will be bars hitting and better action. but i don't like supercross as much as i like nationals. nationals are so awesome to watch because the track has really big jumps and you can go a lot faster on the bike. and i think its more of a race than supercross because on a nationals track theres long straight aways with big jumps, whoops, and large rhythm sections.

ryan dungey

ryan dungey is a very good motocross rider. he did very well this nationals season, he locked up the points board for the title win. i feel the only reason why he won almost every race is because of all the other great riders that were out on injury. there was james stewart, ryan villopoto, and chad reed. i feel if all of those riders were still able to race that the results would have been very different. i don't think ryan dungey would have done so well because ryan villopoto is a better and faster rider than him. he was the one winning all the races before his injury. so if all the main riders were still racing it would have been a very different nationals season.

two strokes

two stroke bikes to meare alot cooler to ride and faster. even though you have to stay in the powerband of a two stroke to go fast it will make you a better and faster rider. thesde bike are very light compared to a 450 which the are both in the same class. the lightness of the two strokes makes it alot more easier to handle out on the track. even though you barely see two strokes out on a track because of 4 stokes 2 strokes are still way better in my opinion. the dont cost as much top fix when you break them because a motor rebuild on a 2 stroke will cost you about 400 dollars as on a 4 stroke it would cost you about a 1000 dollars to fix it. so that shows you whats better on money wise.

kawaski bikes

Kawasaki bikes to me are one of the most strongest running bikes out there. Kawasaki has been the only bike that i haven't blown the motor up on it. there motor is built very strong so it can take a beating when it is rode. also to me they are the most powerful bikes to me the have good throttle response and the just keep pulling through all the gears. i have blown up 5 bikes, 4 Honda's, 1 ktm, and i destroyed the valves on my yamaha. i haven't rode a Suzuki yet so i don't know how they are but for right now Kawasaki is the strongest bike in my opinion.
